Committee Function

The Communications committee coordinates communications with FNPS and between FNPS and the public.

Some specific activities include:

  • Drafting templates for press releases and other notifications
  • Creating branding standards for FNPS (letterhead, brochures, etc.)
  • Managing content of social media sites (blog, facebook, twitter, etc.)
  • Assisting with volunteer coordination

Volunteers

There are many volunteers used by this committee.  Among them are:

 
  • Blog writers -- if you enjoy writing, this could be for you
  • Tweeters
  • Graphic artists (for brochures, branding, etc.)
  • Publicists (make press announcements, etc.)
  • Wiki manager (for handbook Wiki)
