Continuing Education Units
We are pleased to offer our event as an opportunity for Continuing Education credits.
If you are part of the following organizations, please make sure to check the corresponding box on your conference registration form, so that we can make sure you are recorded and receive the appropriate paperwork:
- Florida Nursery Growers and Landscape Association Certified Professionals
- Florida Water Star Accredited Professionals
- Florida Chapter – American Society of Landscape Architects
- Association of Professional Landscape Designers
FNGLA and Water Star certified professionals qualify for the following credits with their in-person attendance or for the April 4th & 5th virtual attendance:
- April 3: 2 CEUs for any field trip and/or 2 CEUs at the invasive plant workshop.
- April 4: Educational sessions 6 CEUs.
- April 5: Educational sessions 7 CEUs.
- April 6: 2 CEUs for any field trip.
Landscape Architect CEU credits have been applied for three sessions in our Saturday programming and are awaiting approval.
- 10:10 AM – 11:10 AM, Native Plant Landscaping: A Tool for Mitigating Environmental Impacts and Enhancing the Ecological Value in Expanding Residential Landscapes
- 11:15 am – 12:15 pm, Designing Landscapes: Alternative Approaches and Preferences for native plant residential landscapes (plot tours after)
- 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Florida-Friendly Landscaping Strategies for Homeowners and HOAs
