2025 Field Trips

Scheduled Field Trips

Check these pages to get details on what is being planned. The trips will have the best of North-Central Florida, giving you a chance to visit some of Florida's oldest and most unique ecosystems.

  • See rare plants in their native habitats
  • See examples of outstanding ecologically sound land management
  • Get to meet some of Florida's best field botanists and ecologists

All field trips require advance reservation. Check individual field trips for costs and difficulty.

If unforeseen circumstances require any field trip to be cancelled or modified before the Conference, FNPS will notify field trip registrants of these changes.

About one month prior to the Conference, Field Trip Fact Sheet will be e-mailed to you for each field trip you have registered for. Please print or save these to your device, as they will not be available on-site. The Field Trip Fact Sheet will provide additional information about the field trip not provided on the registration web site, such as:

  • Suggested clothing, footwear, and additional items for you to bring on the trip.
  • Address and GPS coordinates for the field trip start location.
  • Driving directions from the Hilton Conference Center to the start location for the field trip.

A liability waiver must be completed before attending the field trips.
