Phenology:Evergreen. Blooms in spring. Fruits ripen late summer-fall.
Habitats:Bottomland forest, hydric hammock, baygall, banks of spring run and seepage streams, wet upland mixed forest. Can be seen near several of the spring runs in Ocala National Forest.
