Plant Specifics

Size:Flower stalks up to 1.25 ft.  Foliage much shorter.  
Life Span:Long-lived perennial
Flower Color:White or light gray
Phenology:Blooms spring and summer.
Habitats:Wet flatwoods, marshes, savannahs. Occasionally found in scrub.


Recommended Uses:Bog gardens.

Moisture Tolerance:
always floodedextremely dry
Moisture Tolerance: Stays Wet ----- to ----- Somewhat moist, no flooding
Salt Water Flooding Tolerance:Tolerant of occasional/brief inundation such as can occur in storm surges.
Salt Spray Tolerance:Moderate. Tolerant of salty wind and may get some salt spray. Exposure to salt spray would be uncommon (major storms).
Soil/Substrate:Loam, Organic material (muck), Sand



Reported to attract mites and small insects such as small flies.
