Ecología

Fauna:

Pollinators, Caterpillars, Birds, Mammals

Larval host for rustic sphinx ( Manduca rustica ), waved sphinx ( Ceratomia undulosa ), and laurel sphinx ( Sphinx kalmiae ).

Fruits are eaten by birds and small mammals.
